Captain America: Civil War - Main gripe
I liked the movie a lot. Overall a solid A.
It was well directed and written and the fight scenes were awesome. But my main gripe is why didn't more people mention, "Hey if we did nothing, many more people would have died." And Ironman's whole opinion was swayed by one death??. He should've told her "Listen I'm REALLY REALLY sorry your son died. Yes he was innocent. But a lot more sons would've died if we didn't do anything. Would you want that on your conscience." PC is one thing but trying your best and risking your life and people still coming up and saying "You could have done better??" Really?
That actually would've changed the whole movie but it should've been dealt with more openly. Yes innocent people died, and it was TRAGIC, but consider, a lot more people would've died if they did nothing or if they waited for some sort of UN committee to approve a plan of action.
My 2 cents.
(After reading this, I"m thinking, "WTF! It was a movie! I'm writing an opinion on a fictional piece of work! Sad!"
